I lost my wallet at the airport in Sydney. 20 minutes later I find it at the post office. People are so honest. Phew. Now I am hugging my wallet all day everyday.
Today I want to learn...

surfing is not for the faint hearted

I took four photos of myself standing in front of the Opera House.
I saw hundreds of bats hanging in the trees nearby. Creepy!
I sat looking pale on Bondi beach for an hour, feeling self conscious.
But it was a fun day...

I am in Sydney. I saw the Opera House from the sky--it looked smaller than I thought. People are friendly, so I am happy.
Hmm...kangaroo steak?

Hawaii is a beautiful shade of blue...

and tomorrow I will jump a day into Australia...my first visit to the southern hemisphere. I wonder if the water does go around the other way..?

Minneapolis was fun! Jeni and I explored and ate a big burrito. We went to see great music (Shout out Louds) at the coolest music venue I have ever been to (Varsity), last night. We met a fellow music appreciator,Todd, and we hummed the night away. Today I am up at crack o dawn to fly to New York, LA, then Hawaii. Crazy.

Beautiful Boston is nice to walk around. June has been a wonderful hostess, and shown me the coolest places. Also, I have proven that I do indeed attract the Crazies. It's because of my accent. I'm trying to blend in, but it's hard. Tomorrow I catch the Chinatown bus to New York, and then fly over to Minneapolis, where Jeni will be!
Food is big over here.
