Now I am a "Honu Guardian", my new job is to sit on a pretty beach and make sure tourists don't mess with these huge turtles.
It's amazing watching them shuffle onto the beach for a nap!

the other day i was so close to hot volcano lava, i could have touched it. i kind of wanted to. it was one of those 'what if i just tripped and landed in hot lava?' moments.
