Last night I went to the Hammersmith Apollo, to see Sigur Ros, with another Icelandic band called Amiina playing first. Four girls from Amiina drifted from instrument to instrument, including a saw with cello bow. Gorgeous.

Giuliano: "Hey, Kerry, look, I have a pigeon in my hand!"
My new students this week have me working 12 hour shifts, herding them round Windsor and London like cattle. I miss my lazy days of nothingness. The grass is always greener...
Everybody put your best suit or dress on
A day trip to Oxford...

Freak or geek?
This week I have been watching many many DVDs. My favourite is the Freaks and Geeks boxset I bought Simone for Christmas.
I used to be picked last in PE, and dodged out of having a shower at school by wetting my hair.
It's all so true, and hilarious.
Guess that makes me a geek...
i had a 28 pence fine at the library...

This week I have been teaching a group of Italian teenagers all things English.
What a contrast to Japanese students! I love the big sunglasses and how they come in late, no worries. Tomorrow we are having a disco. I want to hand out the nibblies.
